Who We Are
Sycamore’s roots can be traced back to a private school in the Midwest. This small school needed an online admissions program and our founder offered to build one. As a parent volunteer, he continued to develop what would eventually become Sycamore School. It wasn’t long until other private schools in the area heard about this new program and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, schools use Sycamore School all around the world and we remain committed to our purpose: to serve our customers. We aim to provide a product and service to schools that may not otherwise be able to afford an SIS. Over the years, we’ve worked hard to build a comprehensive product based on feedback from customers. When we hear a need from schools, we work to build a solution. This was particularly true in our early days and continues to this day.
Now, some 20 years later, much has changed in education, technology, and the world, in general. The feature-rich product we know today as Sycamore School has served our customers well and continues to function and scale to meet increasing demand. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the years, and we remain committed to serving our customers by finding ways to improve your experience.
What is Sycamore 3.0?
Sycamore 3.0 is the name of our newest version of School School. Upgrading our product to meet the ever-changing technology needs of our schools means that we stay relevant and helpful to our schools. Sycamore 3.0 gives us the opportunity to give our customers more.

The exciting part about building a new product is there is always something next. We always look forward to hearing from new customers and schools about what their ideal school management system looks like. We rely on that feedback to help decide what changes are necessary to build Sycamore 3.0 into its best form. Whether it’s a suggestion for a report, integration, interface, etc., we will send this feedback to our product development team for review.
