Sycamore has grown from its humble beginnings as a website that does simple attendance and admissions to a full-fledged web-based application that has over 300 integrated features. This growth has been largely organic, stemming from the conversations we have with our customers on a daily basis.
300 features sound great, but it can be hard to manage. Oftentimes, it takes a few clicks to get to the page that you want to visit. We’ve heard some of our customers refer to the system as “Click-a-more” on occasion. We laugh a little and realize that the truth is our system can be a little complex. So we’re offering our customers a chance to help make things easier.
Sometimes less is more
Starting today, you can suggest an improvement to our system that makes a process take less clicks to complete. Any shortcut, addition, or subtraction to the system is a possibility. Here’s what to do: first, fill out the form below explaining what area of the system your change affects; then, give us some details on what you’d like to see done differently. Suggestions must be submitted before Dec. 31st! Once we’ve gathered your submissions, we’ll review each one with a fine toothed-comb. The best submission will receive an Amazon Echo as a prize! If possible, we’ll implement the suggestion and hopefully save a few clicks on your daily workflow.
Sycamore can be intimidating to some with the amount of features we offer. We’re hoping that allowing our wonderful users to show us where we can make navigation easier will result in a better system for all of our customers. We’re looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
